I am impressed. Walked in and was greeted. The men and women behind the counter were very nice and helpful. They answered my questions politely. The place was clean and our waitress was very very nice. The amount of food you get on the dollar is much better than going to a fast food place.

I stopped at Luby’s in Beaumont, Texas for a quick bite, and baby, it hit the spot just like I needed. I ordered the fish, spinach, Black‑Eyed Peas, and a slice of buttermilk pie, and everything had that classic Luby’s flavor — simple, comforting, and seasoned like somebody’s mama was in the back making sure you ate good. The fish was cooked just right, the spinach was tender and cozy, and those Black‑Eyed Peas tasted like home. And that buttermilk pie? Sweet, smooth, and exactly the kind of dessert that makes you smile without even trying. It was quick, easy, and perfect for a road‑trip stop. I’ll definitely remember to swing by again when I’m driving back to Houston — especially since my mom loves Luby’s. Next time, I’ll remember to take pictures, because this little meal deserved its moment.

My friend and I are very frequent flyers at the Beaumont luby's. The staff are kind and the food is good. We have missed several weeks because we were out of town there is a noticeable difference in this place tonight as compared to every other Saturday night we've been to. It's damp feeling in here it's hard to breathe there's only my friend and I and one other table of people in this whole entire luby's and it's got to be because it is so muggy in here and you just want to leave. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the weather in Beaumont Texas but it ain't like weather anywhere else and it it will get to you it makes you feel sluggish and unhappy and you just don't want to be in a place like that. You need crisp clear air to make you feel good and to make you want to eat your food. You have good food here but you're not going to have anybody to come to eat it if it keeps feeling like this in this restaurant I can promise you that. I'm a grandmother and I'm a wise woman and I inspected nursing homes and assisted livings for my entire life and I would not be surprised if there's a temperature range that it has to be in. Always our go-to restaurant! Their food is always fresh and full of flavor! Chopped Hamburger Steak is always cooked to perfection, never greasy and perfectly seasoned! Jumbo Pork Chop is always on point! Never greasy nor dry! Perfectly seasoned! Cherry Cobbler is the BOMB! DELICIOUS and awakens your taste buds! Just try it and you can thank me later!👍🍒

Loved it. We were in Beaumont looking for something different and we both wanted something different lol just weren't hungry enough for a buffet. I haven't been to lubys since I was a kid and we will definitely be back!! Fresh food, service was great, clean dining area! The staff that was serving the food were very friendly and full of smiles! And the wait staff were very attentive.
